Delaware Wild Lands has protected new property in the scenic Augustine Creek area! This addition strengthens our growing land complex and contributes to a 23,000-acre corridor of protected lands stretching along Delaware’s Bayshore. These wetlands are a special part of Delaware’s landscape—filtering water that flows into the Delaware Bay, softening the impact of storms and sea level rise, and providing vital habitat for waterfowl, fish, and so many other species that depend on healthy wetlands to survive and thrive.
