Delaware Wild Lands is proud to have been a part of Delaware’s Conservation Community for 60 years!  2021 has been an eventful year for our organization!

This year, Delaware Wild Lands has:

  • Permanently protected two new key properties in New Castle and Sussex County, 300 acres in total!
  • Planted more than 25,000 trees on our properties in New Castle and Sussex
  • Expanded research with botanical and wildlife surveys on our properties
  • and much, much more!

In our 60 years we’ve protected more than 31,000 acres in Delaware, restored hundreds of acres of wetlands, and planted hundreds of thousands of trees.  With your help, we can do even more in the coming years!  Please enjoy the video above, celebrating our 60 year history, and consider making a contribution to help us achieve our conservation goals moving forward, and join us at Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats December 10 from 4-8PM for a special can release of ‘The Trees Knees’ a red ale inspired by Delaware Wild Lands and the Great Cypress Swamp!
